Magic Candles

Magic candles are specially crafted candles that are supposed imbued with supernatural powers or spells. They often are shaped into a form that is similar to whatever the spell is being casted towards. For example, a candle designed to find a new love could be shaped as a man or woman depending on preference, and is often red or pink to symbolize passion and love. A spell or incantation could be inscribed on the candle, or on a piece of parchment that is intended to be read while the candle is burned.

Magic candles begin casting their spell when they are burnt, and many suppliers of these types of candles recommend being present or watching the candle burn until it extinguishes itself. The effectiveness of these candles relies on the belief of the user that the candle will work and is often merely a form of positive reinforcement. It is not the candle itself that is casting the spell, merely aiding in the persons ability to concentrate and focus on their desired outcome.

Positive reinforcement has been shown to help people accomplish their desires on their own, so magic candles should be used as a method to focus this energy, and not be relied upon by themselves. No candle, no matter how magical, will ever provide anything besides light and heat, but it can become a focal point for a persons own actions, or a real visualization of their desires which can help them become realized.
