The most widely used of all magicians supplies is a regular deck of playing cards, but other items such as invisible thread are often used in combination with cards to create an entertaining routine. Cards can appear to float, even fly around the magician to create an entertaining effect. Some of the best supplies used are never seen by the audience.

The fake thumb another one of the widely used magicians supplies. When properly worn, it allows the magician to hide any number of small objects within the thumb, and be able to appear to pull objects out of their hand. Ropes, handkerchiefs and small coins can all be hidden in the thumb and be pulled out at an entertaining time. It is one of magic’s simplest and most effective devices.

Colored foam balls are very popular magicians supplies. They can be used to perform a number of tricks including pulling a ball from nowhere, making two balls turn into three, making balls disappear and many other tricks. Juggling is also popular, especially if balls magically appear and disappear, float in mid air or fly around the magician in unusual ways. Creativity and originality in the performance can make a simple trick seem extraordinary.
