Magic Supplies

Magic supplies can be found in many households already, a regular deck of playing cards is the most popular supply in a magician’s bag of tricks. There are so many different types of card tricks that can be performed with a regular deck that no one could learn all of them. Card tricks are some of the first tricks that a magician can learn, even children can easily learn some card tricks.

There are more and more stores that are popping up that specialize in magic and magical supplies for beginners to advanced magicians. Many are online, but some have actual stores where it is possible to try out different supplies and tricks. These places often carry many different books about magic and how to perform it. DVDs on how to perform magic are becoming available as well, and prove to be a great aid in showing students how a trick is performed.

Magic supplies include cards, handkerchiefs of many colors, metal rings and many other small and large items that can be used by magicians for performances. Other devices can be hand built for specific purposes, or to look like something, such as a straight jacket, but have a hidden trick that allows a magician to use them more effectively and safely.
